E4D dentistry uses a computer system to scan the inside of a patient’s mouth and transfer scanned data to a computerized modeling system to create a 3-D virtual model of your mouth. E4D employs several stages, according to Dr. Tith.

First, the tooth is prepared using convention methods to clear away the damaged tooth tissue and prepare a foundation for the replacement installation.

Next, a digital image is taken of the prepared tooth. That image is then sent to a computer for design of the restoration and then to a milling unit located on the Roomchang premises.
