Dr. Samon has been a cornerstone of Roomchang Dental & Aesthetic Hospital since its inception in 1996, having partnered with Dr. Tith to create the foundation of Cambodia’s premier dental practice.
She attended dental school in Phnom Penh and has received extensive training in Malaysia, Switzerland, Thailand and Australia, bringing a truly international flavor to the quality training and expertise at Roomchang.

Dr. Samon is a general practitioner at Roomchang, and her favorite aspects of her practice are general dentistry and prosthodontics. She exudes a quiet confidence that comes with experience, and she takes enormous pride in the quality of the staff and services provided at Roomchang.
Dr. Samon speaks Khmer, English and French.

Dr. Bunhean has been with Roomchang since 2004, having previously worked in another private clinic in Phnom Penh for three years.

He is a 2000 graduate of the University of Health and Science, Phnom Penh, received additional training in periodontology (2004) and received a certificate in implantology in 2008 in Malaysia. His focus is on periodontology, implantology and esthetic dentistry (reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, etc.), which he particularly enjoys “because it makes people happy.”

“For full mouth reconstruction one can save a lot of money by coming to Cambodia, including air ticket, accommodation etc…reconstructive dental work can cost as much as three or four times what it costs at Roomchang,” he said, adding that the clinic’s commitment to the best technology and materials ensures high quality dentistry at a fraction of the cost in other countries.
Dr. Bunhean also serves as a volunteer part-time instructor on the dental faculty at the International University, Phnom Penh.

A nine-year veteran of Roomchang, Dr. Kyhak joined the clinic in 2002. He has received training in endodontics, prosthodontics and restorative surgery in Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland and Germany.

Specializing in general prosthodontic, aesthetic, endodontic and implantology, Dr. Kyhak enjoys helping patients whose smiles have been devastated by missing or seriously decayed teeth. “I can make their smile complete,” he says, pointing out that unattended broken or damaged teeth can lead to other problems in the mouth in one’s jaw or tongue.

Dr. Kyhak points to Roomchang’s commitment to provide training for all staff as one of its most important assets. “We provide ongoing training to keep current with the best practices,” he said.

A quiet and humble professional, Dr. Kyhak’s calm demeanor is extremely popular among patients.

A graduate of the University of Health Science in Phnom Penh, Dr. Veasna has been associated with Roomchang for seven years. She served on the faculty of Mahidol University, Bangkok through an exchange program and has received additional training in the United States in progressive orthodontics. She has also attended training programs in Malaysia (esthetics) Switzerland (restorative) and Europe (Belgium and France.)

Dr. Veasna’s practice focuses on orthodontics and she appreciates the fact that Roomchang provides its patients with good quality and a sound diagnostic and treatment plan to ensure the best quality outcome for each and every patient.

A native of Kompong Thom province, Dr. Veasna came to Phnom Penh 14 years ago to “continue my education and find a new life.”
Dr. Veasna speaks Khmer, English, Thai and French.

Dr. Bunhay has been on the staff of Roomchang for four years, having previously worked in the health department of Kompong Cham province and for three years at another private dental clinic in Phnom Penh.

He is a graduate of the Dental Institute, Phnom Penh (2000) and has received extensive additional training in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.

His interests are in general public health, general prosthodontic and aesthetic dentistry and implantology. Dr. Bunhay is most proud of Roomchang’s commitment to excellence and good hygiene.

Dr. Rithy joined Roomchang in early 2011, attracted to the clinic by Roomchang’s commitment to provide ongoing specialized training to its staff. A top graduate of the International University, Phnom Penh, Dr. Rithy participated in workshops in Malaysia, Vietnam and Laos in clinical research and aesthetic surgery.

A general practitioner at Roomchang, Dr. Rithy particularly enjoys surgery, restorative work and endodontics. He is currently mastering English so e can qualify for training in Australia or Thailand to become a master of dentistry.

Of all the benefits Roomchang offers its patients, Dr. Rithy particularly appreciates the honesty and respect given to all patients and the fact that Roomchang makes available the most advanced dental treatment and hygiene. He is proud of Roomchang’s friendly and polite staff and appreciates the fact that staff are encouraged to pursue advanced training to increase their knowledge and value to patients and colleagues at Roomchang.

He is also a lecturer in the dental faculty of the International University, Phnom Penh.

Dr. Lov joined Roomchang in August of 2008, having completed his studies at the University of Health and Science (Phnom Penh). He has attended extensive training programs  in Malaysia, Singapore and Germany and is a general practitioner at Roomchang.
Dr. Lov enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but he particularly appreciates performing extractions, root canals and crowns. Roomchang’s professionally-trained staff, good management with ISO certification, friendly staff and the latest technology in dentistry rank with him as Roomchang’s top assets.
Originally from Siem Reap, Dr. Lov has lived in Phnom Penh for 20 years.

Dr. Pheakdey has been on the staff at Roomchang for three years, having previously worked at another private clinic in Phnom Penh. A graduate of the University of Health and Science in Phnom Penh, he also studied at Mahidol University in Bangkok and has attended professional seminars in Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia. He has been a staff lecturer in general dentistry at the International University for three years.
Dr. Pheakdey enjoys general dentistry, but he especially likes prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) and is also trained in implantology and orthodontics.
Dr. Pheakdey points to Roomchang’s quality, comment to ongoing staff training, the latest in treatments and hygiene and friendly, polite and smart staff as the clinic’s strongest assets.
Dr. Pheakdey is also a lecturer in the dental faculty of the International University, Phnom Penh.

Dr. Chanvuthy has been with Roomchang since 2010, training with Roomchang veteran Dr. Bunhean after graduating from the University of Health Sciences in 2009. A general practitioner, Dr. Chanvuthy specializes in general dental care, fillings and root canals.
“I like to see my patients with a beautiful smile,” he says. “If I see a problem I try to solve it as best I can..often by saving a tooth.” Honesty and candor with patients is paramount, he says.“We always tell patients the truth. We don’t always see the profit” in recommended dental work. Like all other staff at Roomchang, Dr. Chanvuthy looks to advanced training as a means of self-improvement and added value to patients. He expects to pursue advanced training in implantology within the next 1-2 years.

Dr. Ratha joined Roomchang after graduating from the International University, Phnom Penh, in 2009. A general practitioner, Dr. Ratha enjoys working with patients who need ordodontics, root canals, crowns and fillings, and she especially enjoys the personalized attention each patient receives at Roomchang.

“Some patients don’t know about dental education…about toothpaste, mouthwash, flossing..I like to explain good dental health step by step,”  she says. Dr. Ratha plans to pursue advanced training in orthodontics in the near future.

Dr. Callum has been a member of the Roomchang staff since 2007. A former private consultant in pediatric dentistry at Auckland Hospital, New Zealand and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry in New Zealand, Dr. Collum was also the principal dental officer for school dental service in one region in New Zealand.

Dr. Callum, who was trained in New Zealand, Australia and the United States, is current  the Dean at the Faculty of Dentistry at International University, Executive Director of the NGO called One-2- One Charitable Trust, and part-time adviser at the Oral Health Office at the Ministry of Health.

He particularly enjoys the variety and satisfaction of working with children at Roomchang, and he takes pride in Roomchang’s expertise in a wide range of dental specialties,  customer-focused approach and high-quality dentistry.

Dr. Kalyan has been with Roomchang since 2008 and has made a significant contribution to Roomchang’s growth and development. She has built a loyal following of patients and looks forward to returning to Cambodia in 2013 to renew her acquaintances and continue to provide excellent dental care to all her patients.

Ratana has worked at Roomchang since 2005, having joined Roomchang after graduating from the Technical School for Care of Physiotheraphy in Phnom Penh and working in a local hospital for two years.

Originally from Kompong Cham, Ratana moved to Phnom Penh to pursue a career and new life. She particularly appreciates Roomchang's loyalty to patients and staff and its commitment to quality, training and obligation to provide the best possible dental treatment to its patients.

Sophea joined Roomchang in 2008 after graduating from the International University, Phnom Penh. She also received ISO training at Roomchang.

In her work as a general chairside assistant for Roomchang's dental staff, Sophea is proud of Roomchang's ability to "provide quality professional services with honesty to all patients."

Soneath joined Roomchang in 2004 as a receptionist, greeting patients and scheduling appointments. In 2006 she was promoted to Secretary General, responsible for general management of staff and facilities in addition to handling Roomchang’s accounting.

Soneath is also responsible for managing staff performance as well as overall clinic safety and cleanliness. She is a graduate of the National University of Management as an accounting major and received additional training at KYDO, the Oxford Center, AAA Customer Service and the Ripple Center.

Soneath is most proud of Roomchang’s history of providing good quality dentistry to its patients while maintaining excellent relationships with them. She points to Roomchang’s commitment to the latest technology, continuing education, customer care and trust as the practice’s premier attributed, and indicates implantology, orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry as the institute’s top services.
 

Mony has been with Roomchang since 2004, having trained at the International University in Phnom Penh. She also received ISO training at Roomchang. 
A chairside dental assistant, Mony provides daily support to Roomchang’s dentists, often working with Dr. Samon. 


She appreciates Roomchang’s commitment to honesty with patients and enjoys all aspects of dental assistance.
 

Neary has considerable experience at Roomchang, having joined the institute in 2002 after training at the International University, Phnom Penh. She also received ISO training at Roomchang.

Quick to smile and with a pleasant manner – like all of Roomchang’s staff - Neary likes all aspects of her role as a dental assistant. She appreciates Roomchang’s loyalty to patients and staff and shares in Roomchang’s commitment to quality.

Having joined Roomchang since 2001, Ny brings a wealth of experience to her job as senior dental assistant. She was trained at the International University in Phnom Penh and also attended advanced training in Scotland. In addition to serving as a chairside assistant to Roomchang’s dentists, Ny is heavily involved in Roomchang’s ongoing staff training program, providing guidance, insight and knowledge to new staff.

“As a trainer, I have a lot of experience and I want to share it with the staff at Roomchang so I can help improve this clinic,” she says.

Neang joined Roomchang in 1999, having trained at the International University, Phnom Penh. She also received ISO training at Roomchang as part of the clinic’s commitment to management quality excellence. 


Among Roomchang’s many qualities, Neng particularly appreciates the institute’s commitment to providing quality, well-trained staff, safety and good hygiene in all aspects of its practice.
 

Reaksmey, who has worked for Roomchang since 2009, is the very public face and voice of the institute. Reaksmey and her colleagues ensure that every Roomchang patient is greeted with a cordial smile and friendly welcome.

Having worked in advertising and real estate sales, Reaksmey brings considerable customer service experience to her role at Roomchang. She has been trained in customer service and team building strategies as well as in general customer service skills, and speaks both Khmer and English.

“It is good that I know a lot of people and I can help solve their problems,” she says, adding that she particularly enjoys working with children who come to Roomchang for the institutes pediatric dentistry services.

“Kids are always scared,” she says. “When I see them I try to talk to them..tell them it is a good thing to see the dentist.” Reaksmey speaks Khmer, English and Chinese.

An employee at Roomchang since 2004, Hong previously worked as a secretary in Phnom Penh. She has received customer service training and has benefited from a visit with a dental clinic in Singapore to see other dental clinics’ practices first-hand.

With a strong command of English, Hong is often called upon to provide translation services for English-speaking patients. For her, it’s all part of Roomchang’s commitment to excellence.

“We have to provide a high standard of services to our patients, especially professional dental work. We want to provide the best quality possible.”

Hong speaks Khmer, English and Chinese.

Moninita joined Roomchang in May of 2011 after working for eight years with the APSARA Authority in Siem Reap. In that role he was the first Cambodian to create an ISO management program, having been responsible for APSARA’s ISO 14001 program.

Moninita graduated university in Phnom Penh in 1998 and received a master’s degree in business administration from the National University of Management in 2010. He has attended training programs in Vietnam, Lao and Thailand and received ISO training in Japan.

Moninita appreciates Roomchang’s commitment to quality and the institute’s constant focus on staff improvement.
“Roomchang ensures high quality performance and satisfaction by all staff by providing support,” he says.
